Hi, I'm Mia and  I'm looking forward to meeting you. I love people, love stories, family, travel and of course, photography- capturing the moments of life. I am obsessed with fractions of seconds & capturing authentic moments.  I am a mom of two--  now teenaged-- girls; my husband is a journalist, award winning author and just published his third non fiction book- MORGENTHAU  Power Privilege and the Rise of an American Dynasty. It's almost 900 pages,  and while he was writing it- I started my photography business on Cape Cod!

I am an internationally acclaimed,  award winning photojournalist and documentary photographer.  My work has been featured in numerous National and International publications and media, including

At Vassar College, I studied English Literature, and I've  been lucky enough to live & work in some very exciting cities--San Francisco, Washington D.C., Paris, Moscow and Dakar.  

Currently, we split our time between Brooklyn, New York & Brewster,  on the Cape. 

No matter what opportunities work & life has given me, I can't get enough of Cape's ocean, beaches, hidden spots and the peace found in nature's open spaces here.   

It is a unique place where we can stop time,  breathe and just be.

Photographing on this special piece of land is a gift I take seriously and I will work hard to blend what I love about the Cape as I capture you on this important day in this gorgeous place !

Your wedding is one the most important days of your life.  I will meet you and  listen to you and help plan how you want to tell the story of your love,  capturing all the nuances of your love story on your wedding day.

I will meet you at your heart's desire or share magical places off the beaten track. No matter where we have your session,  I will capture magical memories for your family.  Anniversary Sessions are of course also welcomed!
